I build AI agents and cloud infrastructure, and I like working directly with the people who use them. Final-year Computer Science student at Queen's University Belfast, graduating 2027. Founder of SwyftAssist.
What I care about
My best work has happened next to the customer: reading their real problems, then building around what actually goes wrong. I want to keep working that way, on small teams where I own what I build.
SwyftAssist: AI voice agents
A venture I run alongside university. My first client is a paying business, and I own the product from design to testing.
- The agent answers after-sales support calls. It identifies the caller, looks them up in the client's CRM, walks through troubleshooting steps, logs the case and hands over to staff when needed.
- Stack: ElevenLabs for the LLM voice workflow, Twilio for calls, a Node.js API on DigitalOcean, Postgres, and a Salesforce integration.
- I analysed real support cases to find the top 10 fault types driving calls, and built the troubleshooting playbooks from those.
Cloud engineering at PwC
16 months as an IaC developer and cloud engineer on a large public-sector programme, as the most junior of a 3-person AWS infrastructure team.
- Designed and led a security log pipeline forwarding logs from 7 AWS accounts into Microsoft Sentinel, built with Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Configured the AWS landing zone and built multi-account infrastructure as code (Route 53 Resolver, Transit Gateway, VPN, Secrets Manager, ACM).
- Built parts of the CI/CD pipelines and worked on-site with the customer's programme team.
- Built AI agents on PwC's LEAH platform for client demos and proposals. I was one of a few people given access, and the selling partner repeatedly gave positive feedback.
- Supported a live Amazon Connect contact centre on AWS for a UK local council.
Freelance
CropSafe, RailWatch: RailWatch is a platform CropSafe built to give farmers and traders real-time information on where their cargo trains are across America.
- Built a live address collection tool on a map, targeting locations near railway lines with a line of sight to the track. CropSafe used it as lead generation to decide where to place cameras.
- Then worked on a vision AI system that detects trains, records them and stores the footage in Supabase blob storage.
American Turbines (americanturbines.com): freelance admin work for a Thiel Fellowship-backed company.
Other projects
- InterestMap: my final-year project, a knowledge graph of UK parliamentary data.
- Catalyst Student Invent finalist (2021), pitching a solo proof of concept to judges from QUB and Ulster Bank.
